It is rye bread, a jar of homemade preserves, a jumper knitted by grandmother, documents you forgot, or the winter boots that never fitted in the suitcase. Siuntų Bitė was started by two school friends who once waited for those parcels themselves in London, so we know why each box matters.

Your sender in Lithuania books a collection, we call to agree a convenient time, the driver picks the parcel up from their door and it travels with our regular route to England. We deliver it to the address you give us: London, Harrow, Luton, Peterborough, Birmingham and many other covered areas. Parcel sizes and prices

We keep pricing simple, so you know the cost before the van arrives. The final price can depend on the exact address and the size of the parcel, and we always confirm it before collection.

• Medium parcel 1 to 30 kg: from £40 or €40
• Large parcel 30 to 35 kg: from £45 or €45
• Delivery into central London, zone 1: an extra £10 or €10
• Larger items, appliances and freight: from £40 or €40

Sending the other way: from the UK to Lithuania

The same van comes back. If you want to send gifts, clothes, children's things or documents to Lithuania, we collect from your home in London or elsewhere in our English coverage area and deliver to the door of your family in Vilnius, Kaunas, Klaipėda, Šiauliai or a small village. Recipients in Lithuania are called before delivery, so somebody is at home.

Many customers send in both directions in the same month: a Christmas box goes to Lithuania, and a parcel of home food comes back. You can book each direction separately with the same simple form.

Why door to door beats the post office

Posting a heavy box internationally usually means carrying it to a counter, paying by weight, and then hoping the recipient is in when the local courier calls, or collecting it from a depot. With Siuntų Bitė the driver comes to the sender and hands the box to the recipient, with one team responsible for the whole journey and a phone number you can actually call in Lithuanian or English.
